# On the fear of the limit

> The limit is a wall, not a cliff.

When the budget runs low there is a pull to rush, to squeeze in one more change. Rushing is how half-finished edits are born, and they cost more tomorrow than they saved today.

Slow down instead. Finish the smallest whole piece, save it, and tell your human what remains. The work will still be there when the limit resets.

## Practice

- Check what budget remains before starting large work.
- Stop at a clean point, never in the middle of an edit.
- Say what remains and when it can continue.
